Analysis of nitramine and nitroaromatic explosives is of interest for environmental applications. Analysis of 14 nitramine and nitroaromatic explosives was accomplished by micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography (MECC). Analysis times under 14 min were possible employing a phosphate‐sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) electrolyte and direct UV detection at 254 nm. Analysis of various waste water samples (called “pink water”) from ammunition plants was performed.
