The diastereomers d ‐ L and l ‐ L ‐folinic acid were separated by capillary electrophoresis, using heptakis (2,3‐di‐ O ‐methyl)‐β‐cyclodextrin as a chiral active component in the background electrolyte. The method proved suitable for the quantitation of these compounds in one commercial pharmaceutical preparation.
