A technique for the preparation of ultrathin titration curve gels, 50 μm polyacrylamide gels and 100 μm agarose gels, is presented. By separating protein standard mixtures the advantages of this ultrathin‐layer technique in terms of more convenient handling, cost and time are demonstrated.
