The cover picture shows a graphical image of the several electroanalysis approaches for hemoglobin (Hb) detection. The review gives a comprehensive introduction to Hb and it's electrochemical detection methods using modified electrode surfaces. In addition, a brief insight into the electrochemical sensing platform for the analysis of other types of globins, such as myoglobin and glycated hemoglobin was discussed. The purpose of the review is to introduce the electroanalytical method for Hb detection and to facilitate future development of new Hb sensing platforms for the medical and healthcare applications.
