A simple way to immobilization of vitamin K 3 by physical adsorption onto the surface of single‐walled carbon nanotubes (CNT‐VK 3 ) and the implementation of these functionalized carbon nanotubes into a reagentless electrochemical devices based on biodoped silica sol‐gel film are described. A sol‐gel composite thin film containing glucose dehydrogenase, diaphorase, cofactor and CNT‐VK 3 was either drop‐coated or electrodeposited onto a glassy carbon electrode surface. Sol‐gel/CNT‐VK 3 /cofactor/glucose dehydrogenase/diaphorase composite modified electrodes showed effective catalysis towards glucose oxidation in both cases.
