Electrochemiluminescence (ECL) behaviors and mechanisms of fluorine‐doped tin oxide (F‐SnO 2 ) semiconductor nanocrystals (NCs) were firstly investigated in both of nonaqueous and aqueous solutions via potential scanning or pulsing. Furthermore, the ECL of F‐SnO 2 was applied successfully to detect dopamine based on the quenching effect.
