This article presents an electroanalytical method of kinetin analysis using a carbon fiber microelectrode. Kinetin is one of the growth regulators in plants and belongs to the group of cytokinins. The adsorption process of the hormone to the microelectrode surface, previously subjected to electrochemical activation, permits a high degree of sensitivity in the quantification of kinetin in plant extracts.
