A novel multilayer film electrode was designed based on the interaction between molecules of 12‐tungstosilicic acid and poly(4‐vinylpyridine) in organic phase. The electrochemical behavior of the modified electrode is characterized. The modified electrode exhibits an excellent and stable electrocatalytic response for the reduction of nitrite.
