Horseradish peroxidase (HRP) and xanthine oxidase (XOD) reactions were investigated using a multichannel electrochemical detector with 16 independent band electrodes held at different potentials. Although the enzyme reaction media gave complicated electrochemical responses in flow injection analysis, responses for a redox species can be extracted easily from the multichannel responses. The course analysis over time of the extracted responses enabled the Michaelis constants and molecular activities of HRP for various electron donors to be established. The electrochemical responses of O   2 −on the μM order in aqueous solution were also washed out from the responses in the XOD reaction media.
