Abstract The redox conversion of heme‐containing protein horseradish peroxidase (HRP), which has a molar mass of 40,000 was studied. The conversion was obtained at an electrochemical polymerized ophenylenediamine (PPD) film‐modified platinum electrode. Optical thin‐layer spectroelectrochemical techniques were applied to determine the characteristics of the electrochemical processes. The modified film can mediate the redox conversion of the HRP.
