Catalytic electrode with pyrolyzed cobalt‐tetramethoxy‐phenylporphyrine (CoTMPP) for facilitating the anodic detection of hydrogen peroxide is investigated. This modified electrode can operate at potentials lower (by ca. 0.2 V) than a platinum electrode. The electrode is tested in membrane enzyme biosensors for the determination of glucose and lactate in water solutions.
