A polarographic method for the estimation of styrene, isoprene, and 1,3‐cyclohexadiene using 0.02 M tetrabutyl ammonium iodide in N,N ‐dimethylformamide as supporting electrolyte has been developed. The method is useful for the quality assurance of conjugated enes as well as for determining trace quantities of these compounds in industrial products such as polymers, elastomers, or adhesives.
