A new and efficient catalytic strategy that combines organocatalysis and iodine catalysis was first developed for the difunctionalization of dienone. The reaction proceeds under metal‐free conditions and employs dioxygen from air as the mild oxidant. The approach results in 1,5‐diketo epoxides in moderate to high yields.
