Premium Visible Light‐Induced Radical Iodoperfluoroalkylation of Unactivated Olefins Cooperatively Catalyzed by Enamines and AminesPremium
european journal of organic chemistry
Fluoro‐organic compounds feature prominently in functional materials and in the pharmaceutical and agrochemical industries. Herein, we report a visible light‐induced atom transfer radical addition of perfluoroalkyl iodide to alkenes/alkynes in the presence of aldehydes and amines. The metal‐free process requires mild reaction conditions and enables iodoperfluoroalkylation. The reaction proceeds via the cooperative action of an enamine and amine.
