The Front Cover shows an artistic display of a novel family of fluorescent dissymmetric coumarin[4]arenes. The dolphins in the picture represent the coumarin[4]arene family whose dissymmetric enantiomeric structures are shown in blue, above the sea level, as lit by the Sun. The coumarin[4]arenes in sea denote the two boat forms that are in rapid conformation interconversion in solution at room temperature. In this report, an optimal synthesis of C‐alkyl coumarin[4]arenes as well as their precursors has been described. The scope of these scaffolds for structural elaboration is further demonstrated. Excitingly, the family of coumarin[4]arenes emits visible blue emission. More information can be found in the Full Paper by P. Kuma and P. Venkatakrishnan.
