Based on difluoroboron β ‐diketonates, four novel alanine dipeptides C 10 H 21 CO‐Ala‐Ala‐O‐Br‐BF 2 DPh ( 4 ) with long alkyl chains were prepared and characterized. UV and emission in different solvents and in the solid states are studied. The self‐assembly behaviors are investigated by FE‐SEM, CD, and FTIR spectra, and different stereochemical structures are proposed. Hydrogen bonding, π–π interactions, and electrostatic interactions are believed to be the driving force for the molecular organizations. The handedness of twisted nanostructures is found to be related to chirality of the amino acid near the alkyl chain.
