The Front Cover shows the sunset over lake Balaton, Hungary in the background of some novel fluorine‐containing piperidine derivatives. Despite of the fact that fluorinated organic compounds are practically absent in the nature, an increasing number of drugs introduced to the market are containing fluorine. Functionalized fluorine‐containing azaheterocycles have been synthetized with stereocontrol across oxidative ring opening followed by ring closing with double reductive amination.
