The Front Cover shows that the long‐anticipated base‐catalyzed addition of acetylenes to the C=N bonds is now a fact. In view of the facile addition of acetylenic carbanions to C=O bonds to give acetylenic alcohols (the Favorsky reaction), the nitrogen analogue of this synthesis seemed to be likely. Indeed, in the t BuOK/DMSO catalytic system, acetylenes add easily to the C=N bond at physiological temperature (40 °C and below) after 10 min affording propargylamines in excellent yields.
