The cover picture shows three racing cars representing Mo V , IIII and Fe III reagents in the oxidative aryl–aryl coupling reaction with the molybdenum(V) car up in front as the most versatile and powerful reagent. A variety of products that can easily be synthesized by molybdenum(V)‐mediated coupling reactions are arranged along the race circuit to underline the impressive possibilities of molybdenum(V) reagents in those reactions. In addition to five‐ to eight‐membered ring systems and their heterocyclic analogues like carbazoles, intermolecular reactions leading to very valuable iodinated biarlys can also be carried out by Mo V reagents. Details are presented in the Microreview by M. Schubert and S. R. Waldvogel on p. 1921 ff .
