The cover picture shows at the center a schematic representation of the dynamic host receptor that can be envisioned as a cage for metal and other organic molecules. The trialdehyde core is shown in blue, the flexible diamine linkers in green and yellow, and the metal ions in red. Other fragments made of different linkers that are being formed are also represented floating in solution. The adaptive hosts isolated in the solid state as single crystals (prismatic and colorless) and analyzed by X‐ray diffraction are shown in stick and CPK representations. Details are discussed in the Communication by M. Barboiu et al. on p. 1825 ff . The illustration was prepared by Y.‐M. Legrand using Blender & The Gimp.
