A transition‐metal‐free method for the hydrosilane reduction of aromatic and aliphatic nitro compounds to the corresponding amines is reported. Et 3 SiH is found to be the optimal reductant in this B(C 6 F 5 ) 3 ‐catalyzed deoxygenation. The functional‐group tolerance is, however, moderate.
