Abstract The asymmetric cross‐aldol reaction of α,α‐disubstituted acetaldehydes with commercial ethyl glyoxylate polymer was successfully catalyzed by diphenylprolinol silyl ether 3 to generate all‐carbon quaternary stereogenic centers with good enantioselectivity.
