The cover picture shows the original route for the synthesis of indoles. Treatment of the fundamental substrates, disubstituted 2‐butynes, with a stoichiometric amount of trifluoroacetic acid affords 4,7‐disubstituted indoles as the main products. The reported strategy involves attaching the benzene ring onto the existing pyrrole scaffold. Details are discussed in the article by L. Latos‐Grażyński et al. on p. 4115 ff.
