The cover picture shows the meso functionalization of 5,10‐ and 5,15‐A 2 ‐porphyrins by using a conveyor belt, whereby the porphyrin is functionalized with various substituents (different coloured boxes) and various linkers. When these functionalized porphyrins come together through palladium‐catalyzed coupling reactions they form porphyrin arrays of different shapes, depending on the substitution pattern of the monomeric porphyrin. These arrays are connected through conjugated linkers, and their formation is depicted by an arcade game, “porphyrin arrays”, in the background. These arrays exhibit interesting UV absorption and NLO properties, shown as the “score”. Details are discussed in the articles by M. O. Senge et al. on p. 5797 ff. and p. ????ff.
