An efficient Pd‐catalyzed multialkynyl cross‐coupling reaction performed with tetraalkynylindates generated in situ from the reaction of 1 equiv. of indium trichloride with 4 equiv. of organometallic reagents has been developed to produce symmetric as well as unsymmetric multialkynyl‐substituted aromatic compounds in good‐to‐excellent yields. In these reactions, the four acetylide groups in the tetraalkynylindates transferred effectively to a variety of aryl bromides.
