Abstract The cover picture shows new members of the subphthalocyanine family that were obtained by peripheral derivatization of this C 3 ‐symmetrical macrocycle. The incorporation of novel functionalities onto these dyes provides wider versatility that could be exploited in artificial photosynthetic systems and other applied fields.
