We report various multi‐tier designer dendritic molecules that incorporate an aromatic core and heterocyclic and peptide units. The 5‐(azidomethyl)benzene‐1,3‐dicarbonyl unit was chosen as the scaffold as this unit allows two identical units and a reactive end to be incorporated, thus generating a dendron suitable for dendrimer synthesis. The design and synthesis of dendrimers with multi‐tier architectures will be useful for generating dendritic structures with various functions.(© Wiley‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
