Lewis acid catalyzed generation and reactions of α‐organylsulfanyl and α‐organylselanyl carbenium ions with nucleophiles proceeded in high yields using α‐fluoro‐α‐organylsulfanyl‐ and α‐fluoro‐α‐organylselanylacetate and 5 mol‐% scandium triflate.
