Abstract Certain thiazole‐containing water‐soluble glycosylated polyamides were synthesized and preliminary anti‐cancer evaluation carried out by NCI against three types of cancer‐cells. Glycosyl moieties were introduced onto the polyamide backbone in order to increase the water‐solubility of the longer polymers. This necessitated the development of novel synthetic methods.
