The neutral rhodium complexes [RhCl(NHC)(cod)] (NHC = N‐heterocyclic carbene) catalyzed the hydrosilylation/cyclization of 1,6‐enynes and HSiR 3 (R 3 = Et 3 and PhMe 2 ) to form 2‐methyl‐1‐silylmethylidene‐2‐cyclopentanes in high yields.
