α‐Imino carbonyl compounds − derivatives of 3‐imidazoline nitroxides − were found to undergo heterocyclization reactions, yielding oxazole and 1,3,5‐triazine derivatives. The most probable course of the reaction was suggested by the radioactive label method. The structures of the heterocycles synthesized were verified by X‐ray analysis of the mixed‐ligand complexes with copper hexafluoroacetylacetonate. (© Wiley‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
