However, wet biomass contains a high amount of moisture, creating mass transfer resistance for hexane penetration into the tissue matrix. Homogenizer extraction operates at a low temperature for a short period that shows a highly efficient extraction of EPA/DHA‐enriched oil from cobia liver.
