The Front Cover shows the multiple facets of the modern molecular chemistry of barium. This area has enjoyed a surge of interest from the organometallic community in the past few years. The design and synthesis of multiple families of stable barium complexes are surveyed. The most recent applications of these unusual complexes in homogenous catalysis, in particular for hydroelementation and dehydrocoupling reactions, are also reviewed. Claudiu Silvestru is gratefully acknowledged for preparing the artwork. More information can be found in the Review by P. M. Chapple and Y. Sarazin.
