The Front Cover shows the general formula of platinum(II) complexes combining an N‐heterocyclic carbene ligand and a neutral ligand with two halides in the trans ‐position that display potent anticancer activity. Using N‐heterocyclic carbenes as ligands for organometallic chemistry is a relatively young area that offers new opportunities in the field of bio‐inorganic chemistry. The cover also presents selected examples of the complexes and the logos of the institutions that supported the project. More information can be found in the Minireview by S. Bellemin‐Laponnaz. For more on the story behind the cover research, see the Cover Profile.
