The first lanthanide tricyanohydridoborates have been synthesized from anhydrous lanthanide chlorides and the oxonium salt (H 3 O)[BH(CN) 3 ]. Thereby, the three‐dimensional, homoleptic coordination polymers 3 ∞ [Ln{BH(CN) 3 } 3 ] (Ln = Eu, Tb) could be obtained in solvothermal reactions upon complete substitution of the chloride anions by [BH(CN) 3 ] – anions. Both products exhibit intense and characteristic photoluminescence in the visible region through lanthanide‐specific 4f–4f transitions with long luminescence decay times typical for the respective lanthanide ions. [BH(CN) 3 ] – proves to be a suitable linker for new lanthanide coordination polymers.
