The oxidative addition of chloro‐, bromo‐ and iodobenzene to the cationic bis(phosphane)rhodium complex [Rh(DIPAMP)(MeOH) 2 ]BF 4 was investigated. The resulting complexes were characterized by X‐ray analysis and NMR spectroscopy and applied as catalysts in classical cross‐coupling reactions. Product inhibition was observed and quantified by UV/Vis and NMR spectroscopy.
