Four isostructural heptanuclear {(Ln 6 Cr)(C8A) 2 } compounds (Ln = Gd, Tb, Dy, and Tm; H 8 C8A = p‐tert ‐butylcalix[8]arene) were synthesized under solvothermal conditions. These four compounds feature a sandwich‐like unit in which the heterometallic {Ln III 6 Cr III } cluster is capped by two perpendicular calix[8]arene molecules in a double‐cone conformation. Magnetic investigations revealed that the {Tb III 6 Cr III } compound exhibits single‐molecule magnet (SMM) behavior.
