Treatment of the donor‐stabilized silylene [ i PrNC(Ph)N i Pr] 2 Si with Ph–C≡C–Ph resulted in a [2+1] cycloaddition reaction to afford a silicon(IV) compound, the first silacyclopropene with a six‐coordinate silicon atom. This compound was structurally characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction and multinuclear NMR spectroscopic studies in the solid state and in solution.
