Different types of cationic Rh complexes bearing the Synphos ligand were characterized by NMR and X‐ray analysis for the first time. This set of compounds includes diolefin rhodium precursors [Rh(Synphos)(cod)]BF 4 and [Rh(Synphos)(nbd)]BF 4 , solvate complexes [Rh(Synphos)(MeOH) 2 ]BF 4 , [Rh(Synphos)(acetone) 2 ]BF 4 as well as the toluene complex [Rh(Synphos)(toluene)]BF 4 , trinuclear complexes [Rh 3 (Synphos) 3 (μ 3 ‐OH) 2 ]BF 4 and [Rh 3 (Synphos) 3 (μ 3 ‐Cl) 2 ]BF 4 and arene‐bridged dimer [Rh 2 (Synphos) 2 ](BF 4 ) 2 .
