Invited for the cover of this issue are Scott Mitchell and Jesús Martínez de la Fuente of The Nanotherapy and Nanodiagnostics Group from the Institute of Nanoscience of Aragón, part of the University of Zaragoza (Spain). The cover image shows a false colored SEM image of triangular gold nanoprisms (we refer to them as “nanonachos”), which can be synthesized by using paradodecatungstate [H 4 W 12 O 42 ] 8– . The distinctive green color of the nanonachos is due to their localized surface plasmon resistance absorbance in the near‐infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum.
