The first donor‐stabilized silylenes with guanidinato ligands, compounds 4 and 6 , were synthesized and structurally characterized in the solid state and in solution. As demonstrated by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies, compound 4 contains a bidentate and a monodentate guanidinato ligand of the type [ i PrNC(N i Pr 2 )N i Pr] – , and compound 6 contains the bidentate guanidinato ligand [ArNC(NMe 2 )NAr] – (Ar = 2,6‐diisopropylphenyl) and the monodentate amido ligand [(Me 3 Si) 2 N] – . Both silicon(II) complexes exist also in solution.
