Synthesis and crystal structure of the dinuclear complex threo ‐[Fe III 2 (saltab)(Him) 4 ](ClO 4 ) 2 · 2MeOH ( 1 ) {H 4 saltab = (2 R ,3 S )‐1,2,3,4‐tetrakis(salicylideneamino)butane, a bis(salen)‐type Schiff base ligand, and Him = imidazole} are reported. The magnetic behavior of 1 showed that it was in a high‐spin state over the whole temperature region.
