Abstract The cover picture shows the structural complexity of the A 2 In 12 Q 19 phases, which was unravelled by a combined methodical approach including state‐of‐the‐art XRD and HRTEM techniques (background). An ordered arrangement of the atoms is limited to nanodomains built from the extended structural fragments (foreground) that constitute these crystalline solids as a whole. Details are discussed in the article by H.‐J. Deiseroth et al. on p. 367 ff.
