The reaction of CuOAc (OAc = acetate) with TiCl 4 · 2thf and LiSPh in thf leads to the formation of tiny deep‐red crystals of [Li(thf) 4 ] 2 [Ti 2 Cu 8 S 4 (SPh) 10 ]. The silver/titanium cluster complex [Ti 2 Ag 6 S 6 Cl 2 (PPh i Pr 2 ) 6 ] was synthesized by the reaction of TiCl 4 · 2thf with AgPhCO 2 and S(SiMe 3 ) 2 in the presence of PPh i Pr 2 . The crystal structures of the compounds were determined by X‐ray analysis of single crystals. Additionally, theoretical investigations were performed to assign the proper chlorine/sulfur atomic positions and to rationalize the bonding situation in 1 and 2 . (© Wiley‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
