A convenient synthesis of new chiral ferrocenene‐bridged phosphole–phosphane ligands in an enantiomerically pure form has been developed. These new chiral P,P ligands have been tested in a palladium‐catalysed allylic substitution reaction. High activities and moderate enantioselectivities (up to 61 %) were observed. A palladium(II) complex has been isolated and its crystal structure established. (© Wiley‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, 69451 Weinheim, Germany, 2006)
