The compound [Cu 2 (μ‐pzdc)(phen) 4 ](NO 3 ) 2 · 10H 2 O ( 1 ; pzdc = pyrazine‐2,5‐dicarboxylato; phen = 1,10‐phenanthroline) has been structurally and magnetically characterised. Theoretical calculations have allowed us to establish a plausible magneto‐structural correlation for pyrazine‐bridged complexes. (© Wiley‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, 69451 Weinheim, Germany, 2005)
