The cover picture shows the X‐ray structure of [Pd(Et 2 timdt)Br 2 ] (left; Et 2 timdt = diethylimidazolidine‐2,4,5‐trithione), obtained by treating the symmetrically substituted dithiolene [Pd(Et 2 timdt) 2 ] with Br 2 or IBr. This complex has been exploited as a starting material for the synthesis of the new mixed‐ligand, push‐pull dithiolene [Pd(Et 2 timdt)(mnt)] (mnt = maleonitriledithiolate), whose X‐ray molecular structure is depicted on the right.
