Self‐assembly reactions of sulfonates with AgNO 3 in the presence of secondary N‐ or P‐containing ligands result in the formation of four new silver‐sulfonate polymers, [Ag(PIP)] n ·[Ag(pesp)] n ·2 n H 2 O ( 1 ), [Ag 2 (pesp)(dabco)] n ·5 n H 2 O ( 2 ), [{Ag(pesp) 1/2 (hmt) 1/4 }·0.5H 2 O] n ( 3 ) and [Ag(PPh 3 )(pesp) 1/2 ] n · n MeOH ( 4 ), whose structures change from one‐dimensional chains to three‐dimensional open frameworks based on the secondary ligands.
