Abstract A lymphocyte hybridoma, termed 80 V5B4, that secretes a syngeneic anti‐idiotypic antibody to P3‐×63Ag8 (×63) myeloma protein, is described. A sensitive radioimmunoassay to detect ×63 myeloma protein was developed with this monoclonal anti‐idiotypic antibody which can also be used to remove the ×63 myeloma protein from hybridoma products.
