Abstract Antibodies to the ordered collagen‐like synthetic polymer (Pro‐Gly‐Pro) n , as well as antiserum to rat tail collagen, have a similar specific cytotoxic activity on primary cultures of rat muscle cells and on rat embryo fibroblasts. This cytotoxic effect is complement‐dependent, and could be observed both in monolayers and in cell suspensions.
